Moist Banana Cake

Serves: four

  • 125g butter
  • 1 cupful (200g) white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoonful vanilla effect
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon bicarb soda
  • 1 1/2 cups (185g) self-raising flour

Planning method

Step one:

Preheat oven to 190 level C. Cream butter and refined sugar in a bowl until it turns a light colour. Step By Step add beaten eggs one at a time. Crunch banana on a plate with vanilla essence. Mix bicarb soda water in a cup with the milk.

Step two:

Add your mashed banana mixture into the creamed butter and sugar & mix until blended. Alternately add your flour and your milk mix until just mixed.

Step three:

Pour mixture into a lubricated and lined loaf can and broil for 45 min or until cake springs back from a touch in the center. Cold on cake rack.
